If you have followed us for a while you have hardly missed that we a few months ago released our very own iPad app called Green Kitchen. It has been a smashing success with lots of downloads, nice media mentions and appreciating comments. For example Bon Appétit picked Green Kitchen as the “Best app for vegetarians!” and called it “tantalizing food porn”. We are so enormously proud and grateful for all of this that we decided to make it even better. We have listened to your feedback and today we are releasing Green Kitchen for iPhone! Using our recipes has never been easier. We have added a few completely new features, like “Search” and “Send the ingredients as a text message”. We have also added more recipes AND lowered the price. So, a completely new iPhone app, more features, more recipes, less money. Yay!
It’s a universal app, so If you have already downloaded the iPad App you will get the iPhone version and the new recipes for free. Just login to app store, search for Green Kitchen and press Download. And if you download it for iPhone you will of course also get the iPad app for free.
The 48 recipes on the app are our favorites from the blog (and also a few exclusively for the app), but from now on we will also keep adding a few recipes from the blog each month. So it will only get better.

We just found out that Apple is featuring Green Kitchen for iPhone in their New & Noteworthy section in US App Store! Only a few apps are handpicked into that section each week. We are so indescribably proud.
